The Cortlandt Engine Company will host its second annual golf outing at West Point Golf Course on Monday, September 21. Golf registration and breakfast will begin at 9 a.m., followed by a 10 a.m. shotgun start. After the golfing concludes, participants will be treated to a steak dinner and have the opportunity to win prizes.

Last night during Monday night training, members of Continental Village traveled south with Tanker 11 and Rescue 69 to the Hamlet of Montrose to join our personnel in a review of tanker operations and hose line techniques. This training offered valuable experience for all participants, particularly for our own members who rarely engage in tanker operations as our district has hydrants throughout it.
The Montrose Fire Department and Cortlandt Engine Company will host their first Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on June 14 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Montrose Fire House. Everyone in the community is invited to attend and enjoy a hot breakfast prepared by fire department members.

On Tuesday, April 14 at 5:42 p.m., Montrose was alerted to a reported propane explosion with unknown extent in the Cortlandt Manor area of the district. This activated the Tri-Village response system, in which the agency where the incident occurs responds, while two neighboring agencies stand by for coverage or additional assistance if needed.
